i was wondering if somebody can help me out ,i have a 01gsxr 750,and the fuel pump does a stedy beeping noise (the bike is not even on or runing)does enybody have the same problem.
that noise is driving me nuts

wht do u mean. it should never beep, may buzz, but y would it beep.

when it makes this noise again, open the cap right away, if it goes away, then you just released the pressure that gas builds up, the noise you hear is the pressure trying to escape the tank. hope this helps

my buddy's 1k fuel pump does all kinds of weird things...u turn on the key and it starts off normal then clicks real loud, beeps, then makes a noise that sounds like a cd drive in a computer when you open and close it...it is WEIRD but the bike still runs mint so he don't give a f*ck

My 1000 makes the same clicking noise also. But it still runs great.

You should hear my buddys z1000. Its got those servo actuated secondary throttle butterflies and they cycle every time you turn the key on. First time he turned on his bike I thought it was gonna explode.

Just tell it to be quit! then smack it! lol, seriously though, if it doesnt hurt the bike, I probly wouldnt worry with it.
