I just picked up a high mount and put it on last night. I chose mainly for looks, but I also was able to create a crash guard to protect it in case I slid on the right side, which is a big plus. Haven't rode with a passenger, should find out this weekend how uncomfortable or not it is.

I say if it annoys the passenger.. f*ck 'em.. they can get there own bike if they want comfort.

That's why you buy Carbon Fiber From MIG. Unlike Yoshi's still hot as crap CF, mine won't get any hotter than you can hold you hand on. Not too mention it looks tight. For looks almost always.
