help ...buying 98 yamaha yzf

98 YAMAHA YZF 600, 32,000 MILES, ROOTBEER, ORANGE, BROWN AND SILVER COLORS,JETTED ENGINE, DID GOLD CHAIN, K & N AIR FILTER, D & D EXHAUST SYSTEM, NEW PAINT.

this is my first bike getting it for 1800 is it a good deal or is the dude rippin me off new rider teaching my self slow n steady any help/advice on what too look for on the bike before i pay him

Thats not a bad bike...especially if you plan on getting something to learn on. Remeber though its slightly less "sport" than most sport bikes....not meaning its not fast it'll just have a more upright riding position...great for commuting and learning...

Also I wouldnt suggest it too much as a stunt bike as they're quite heavy....i used to own a 95. But all in all not too bad....New Paint can sometimes be a cause for worry on sportbikes.ie-was it dropped?

If you like it get it....have fun...sell it and by something else when you know what you want from a bike.

as its been said numerous times around here you can pull a wheelie on just about anything if you clutch it enough....
