What model sport bikes had V-twins in the past 15 years??
I'm looking to get a sport bike, and it seems that if it has an inline 4 its way expensive to insure. My examples are that an SV-650 and a Triumph Daytona 900 Super III are cheaper to insure than any other sport bikes (inline 4's) that I have priced out.
I like to hit the twisties and that is what I am mainly looking for, an older sport bike that I can afford the insurance on. I would like to learn some of the basic stunts also, once I get comfortable on the bike. Someone once told me that the V-twins were better in the twisties because of the center of gravity being better than that of an inline 4. Is that BS?? Are V-twins stuntable????

my ole' superhawk used to rip up wheelies, stoppies, and hit the twisties hard...
only thing that sucks on the VTR is the radiators are on the sides, so you gotta get some reliable frame sliders. and the problem with most twins is that they are heavy *** bikes. my VTR was like 400+ lbs, even with all gauges, fairings, etc, taken off...

A little off subject but check out other ins. carriers for prices. I had shitty *** progressive, they wanted $4,500 when my R6 was new I was under 25 which did not help but what the ****. I carried just the min. liability until a friend told me check with statefarm, they rate the bike by cc's not if it is a sportbike or not. I pay lees for full coverage now than I was for liability with proggresive. F-Proggresive.
