Don't you WANT overkill with your gear? I'd rather have something that's really made to get ****ed up than something that might get worn out easily and leave my [hand] a big bloody streak on the road.

I love my Teknic gloves. They have taken some serious damage from high speeds and really have held up to it -- time for new ones, though.

i use reinforced dirt bike gloves they have all the protection on the top but thin on the palm! yes i thinked thicked leather on the palm might protect a little better but i need the feel! sometimes you just have to trade on thing for another. they are made by Thor. hope this helps! sean

$$ gloves $$

Take it from someone who rides, stunts, races
and works in the industry.
DONT skimp on hand protection as it is the first
part of ya body ( most of the time ) to hit the deck!
Ive got Arlen Ness, Spyke and Spidi race gloves,
non of which are cheap, but the **** they have
been put through..and the are still in great condition!

Ya can replace gloves but i will be rooted if i'd be going
in for skin graphs man!!!

I wear Alpine Star GP Plus gloves because they're the heaviest reasonably priced gloves I could find. Don't buy into that, "I wear MX gloves for the feel" stuff unless you want to "feel" your palms being ripped off on pavement. There's a real good example of this in the Whackpac video from a stoppie gone bad.
I think it's a reasonable guess that a lot of you guys work with your hands for a living. Don't let your hands get ground up when you could easily prevent that from happening with a good pair of gloves.
