Re: Any ideas??
Yea, right as i read tha, my wife ran the vin. Thanks for clairifying thoug. Below where he said the 250 had one everything, didnt seem to sound right. We got the 929 ferring cut down and made the mouting points for it today. I rebuilt the starter as well, but the motor seems to be seized. were taking it out and gonna start working on it now. AND i'm almost done with the fake rear seat cowl. Cosmetically all we have left is to cut fown the fat kid faring to somewhat match the 929 front, clean up the seam with bondo and paint em. Wife made pink and silver graphics for it. Its not gonna be a bad bike for what it Is and was. And not bad for a first bike. I got pics on the way

Re: Any ideas??
Thanks man. Its all rattle canned, but its turning out better than any spray paint i have ever done. Even chrome painting some of the covers. The rims are gonna be pink to match the graphics. Heres a pic of the inital fiberglass layer for the rear seat. Theres gonna be a hump in it like alota bikes have (gixxer has it) And a pic of the chain, EVERYTHING was this rusted on it. I was proud of my wife. She came out today and sat down with a brush and some SOS pads, brake cleaner, and chain cleaner and made the rotors, chains, and sprokets look almost new.
When were done im gonna post before and after pics of the major tasks.

update
The tank is done. It kinda reminds me of tron but the wifey like it so its done...
But, i chromed rattle canned the cap, used medium grit, dry sandpaper, dipped it in gas and sanded it. (to get the gunk n **** off) Then went back over with 400b wet sand paper. Next used plastic primer, then added high heat black spray alternating with a clear coat. Sanded after each coat for about 4 coats, and finally one last double clear coat.
Ordered sheets of vynal from ebay, did the striping, and used a dry wall patch up kit to do the carbon fiber on the key cover. One step down, seems like a million to go
