Re: Colored face sheilds on helmets
it probably depends how much you ride also..
I average at least 500+ miles a week.. And thats easily me cleaning my helmet 7-14 times a week.. So I guess I just had to clean mine too much
however some of my friends ride 500 miles, a year.... So there shields would probbaly last for years

From cleaning the front of hte helmet, it has made the gold rub off... So now its spekeled(sp) with gold dots, and makes it stupid to even use....
So im woundering, are all colors like this? If I get a silver one, will it just rub off when I clean it?
What about a regular black smoked one?

i had kbc's blue, and chrome..... both sucked, and i cleaned em dry, they lasted months. my icon... i only got smoked, and clear so i didnt have to deal with that.
but the smoked seems to stay on permanently. not to hard to see at night either.
