ok well heres the full list of what hes offering to me......frame,motor,mirrors,tank,fuel pump,gauge cluster "not sure if its his",wire harness,tail section,upper fairings,windshield,tail light,seat & cover,,passenger pegs,stock exhaust,headers,rear sets,wheels and tires " not sure from what bike but says yamaha",sprocket,rear shock,and rear axle... thats all he could name off the top of his head he says he has a few more parts..... now keep in mind he bought the bike and it got stolen with no insurance. so when the recovered the bike all the vins matched up on the frame and motor.... all the rest of the pieces he picked out from piles of other bikes that were stolen.... the gauge cluster may not be from his bike which has 300 miles on it...he wants 200 for the frame or 1500 for the frame and motor.... now with everything i listed he wants 3k and theres a little bit more than what i listed i need to know what i should buy and what i should offer i want to make this deal buy tomorrow.....i need a bike to beat up on so i can just get enough to make it rideable....now before you guys flame on me i dont know much or anything about bikes i have been rideing for about 3 months now... and i have to stop dropping my brand new 06 gixxer...i know i dont know how to stunt but i will learn even if its the hard way plz help me as much as you can... i want this bike before i leave for iraq in june!!!

i agree with catach42 get an f4i that has been wrecked. That just sounds like a shady deal.

 

Well sh*t i just read your other post. as long as the frame and motor are clean it might be an ok deal offer him 2000 though see what he says

 

yes the frame and motor are clean and have a clean title. its a 2005 gsxr-600. he wouldnt take 2k for the lot hes pretty firm on 3k for everything... so im probably just going to buy the frame and motor.. what else should i buy from that lot of ****? like expensive parts or hard to get parts? just need to know what i should try to make a deal with.

 

putting that thing back together is going to nickel and dime you to death and get expensive real quick.. I did the same with a 01 gsxr 600 I got for $500 and I ended up spending enough money that I could have bought a complete running bike for the same price but without all the headache of searching ebay for months for parts..
