Who's viewing - come on shuggs
Shugga we haven't asked in a while. It would be really great to tell who is viewing a thread. Can you bring this back?
It gets frustrating asking a question and then sitting there for 25 minutes thinking that someone will reply and they are not even in the thread any more.

You make a good point here. There are costs that are involved with adding things to the site. People are always asking and begging for things to be used on the site, or they just simply want to take up more bandwidth with thier post whoring. This site was intended to be informational to all the stuntriders out there and so they can communicate on a message board about random bike related things. No big deal. Now, the site is huge, and it costs more to keep things up and running, updates, extra's etc...
On one end of the spectrum, we have those who want to come register on the site for free. No big deal. Everyone is welcome to come to the site. This side also expect the site to run flawlessly and complain when things arent done a certain way or dont deal well with changes on the site.
On the other end of the spectrum, (which is the amount of people I can count on both hands and feet) who do pay yearly. And they make this site beneficial to them and thier stunt teams.
This is why we went with the 4 levels of contribution. None, $10, $20, and $30 a year. Giving the high contributors more access permissions.
There are 51,358 Members on this site. You would think with that many members, more than 20 people would be willing to support this site as much as they are on it.
You can make your requests clear on what you want on the site. Your idea's are great. It would make SL pimpin
. However, you have heard the saying, you get what you pay for. Noone knows that even with the contributors per year, everything reguarding the site, comes out of Shuggs personal pocket. Everyone also rips on him because they think he's wanting to take everyone's money. Well, when you run a site that is used daily and is within the top 100,000 top websites used in the world, you bet it costs money.
Anyway, not a rant or rave.. just maybe POSSIBLY trying to shed some light on a very misconstrude thought or perspective.
