Enough is enough. I know that time and effort was put into setting up stunttrader.com. From what it looks like it's still even free of charge to use. The thing is that if I have to take all the time to set up a new acount, and post all the details, I may as well log into my ebay account and sell the item. Ebay attracts 1000x the ammount of buyers stunttrader.com would therefore the seller will get more money on ebay than stunttrader.

The average user of this forum that bought and sold parts has been forced to look elsewhere on other forums and on ebay. This mean the buyer is competing with the rest of the motorcycle world and paying more. The ease of use and quick posting in the for sale forums attracted sellers away from ebay. Sellers knew they would get less money for their part, and most parts were posted up at a low price to begin with. Since a fellow stunt rider would end up buying the part they were satisifed in selling at that low price. The forums were also a quick way to receive parts. No waiting for auctions to end, and most guys receive PM's and replys quickly.

I am posting this out of frusteration after completeing my bike without the old forums. I have paid top buck on ebay and am now registered to about 10 different forums just for their classifieds.

By voting for the poll as a YES you are signing a petition to ditch stunttrader.com and have the classifieds forums brought back. PLEASE vote NO if you disagree. I want this to be fair.

yeah you would think someone would wise up ehh??

the sad part is that it would be easy to only allow contributing members to post in the classifieds.... then make contributing member ships be like $10 or event $20 a year

everyone would pay that **** and it would be some stacks for stuntlife

whats even funnier is when the mods of the general discussion forum edit all posts of people trying to sell stuff, but then the mods of this forum dont do ****... this site is so inconsistent its crazy

just do it like everyone keeps saying, only let contributing members post threads in the classifieds section, I'd contribute then, I've seen this done on a truck message board and its workin soo good, nobody hesitated about it...works great, DO IT

holly common sence batman! even the brokest of the broke can afford to flip $5 bucks to sell some items and help themselves and other's in this community, but oh no! that would be to easy and the mods might make a friend or two ,lol

i agree also. stuntrader sucks.
there is rarley anything new. which means no parts to buy.
also they aint making money so wtf might as well go back and charge 10 bucks per person.

what made the classifieds great was the fact that lots of random people would just throw **** up there dirt cheap because they were too lazy to go through any kind of effort at all to take pics, line up an ebay auction.

the best deals are on the sites that take the least amount of work to post IMO

++1 !!! I liked the classifieds on this sight. Allthough I never actualy purchased anything from them, I shoped the regularly. If I sell a part, bike or whatever, I would sell it cheaper knowing one of my brothers from the craft were buying it , wrather than some average dik. It was easy to use, and was allways the firs place I looked to purchase.

well guess what.. thats not feasible because someone wants to maker money off this site. which they have full right to do...

with that being said, would you rather let whoever wants to sell something contribute once a year.. knowing full well whatever they post will sell quickly because everyone goes to the regular classifieds....

or keep stunttrader... that everyone complains about

I look at stunttrader every once in a while...but it sux.

I look at othersites forsale forums a hell of a lot more than stunttrader. and now ebay is even lookin better.

Cant blame the guy for trying to make money, but what a horrible failure. Stuntusa classifieds is pretty good, and ebay still rules.

stunt trader blows ..... honestly, the stuntlife site overall would make more money bringing them back with "contributor" restrictions. stunt trader doesnt have di*ck for people on it, and it can't even support it's existance really with the nickle and dime fees ...... VERY few people on there. It doesn't really matter if there are people here and there trying to sell stuff. If no one is buying anything (which they arent, cause it doesnt even get any looks hardly) then it will slowly work itself down to nothing, because no one wants to pay to sell something, and not have it sell -- ..... You bring it back to the old setup and make people contribute at least $10 or $15 or something. old school setup has my vote. Ease of use is very important as well, and stunt trader aint even close to easy
