Crashed Hard Yesty

Crashed just as we rocked up to practice yesterday and it was a fast one.
Was such a **** too cos it wasn't as much an accident as it was an oversight. I flipped a wheelie doing about 120-130k's an hour just as we arrived at our practice spot. That sucked butt cos I didn't even get to really ride yesterday!!

Anyway my dumbass changes the rear tyre just before we head for the spot, as we turn into the main street I pop a fast plain as jane wheelie, nothing special. In 2nd or 3rd gear starting to get a fair bit of speed so I bring her back past balance to slow it down a bit. Hit the rear brake, nothing, hit it again...ahhh ****ing nothing again, 12 bar hits the ground by this time and I think maybe I'll control it or something....BWAHAHA..fat freaking chance as the thing goes wobbly like nothing else after just scraping a few metres which at that speed is like one second. The bike goes back and over and cartwheels about 5 times spraying parts fuel and all sorts of **** everywhere!! I at least got to see 2 of the cartwheels before flipping myself over and sliding head first.

Oh well I just better start looking for parts again!!

So if anyone has any of the following, please let me know:

Straight rear subframe.
Electrical switches off bars (on/off switch, turn signals etc)
Tank, preferably already damaged in some way.

Adios!

were you usin the rear brake a lot right before that? if you have dirty brake fluid, and they heat up, they fail, atleast you're ok

Re: Crashed Hard Yesty

hahah just realised I forgot to type up the reason for no brakes. Nothing to do with fade etc. We had just rocked up to the spot so didnt have time to heat and fade. Plus fade is normally gradual, this was zero from the get-go.
Yeah the reason was that I'm a fu#$#$^%$^% Muthe$%^%^%&&% dumbass who changes his rear tyre, pushes his pads apart, then forgets to pump his rear lever before going for a ride.

Re: Crashed Hard Yesty

that,ll do it everytime.

i have had the pleasure of doing that twice before. once flipping it, and next time ended up in kitty litter at end of straight knee deep!

i bet at some stage you will forget again too.
