440 kit

It will give your quad quit a bit of power but I heard that if you have that done since you have to re-sleeve and stuff that you will end up with head gasket problems.....
I have a 416cc on mine and it runs great... if you want to see alot of opinions on those kits check out www.exriders.com forums and search for it.... there are a ton of threads about 440 and 416 kits

i'm getting a full out sparks 440 kit:P
One of my friends has got a 440 kit and he let me spend some time on it and its REALLY nice. Its not like uncontrollable but it just feels like you got all the power you could need and its still just as predictable. I love it!

I have a WB 440 kit. It's basically a JE 10:1 piston and an la-sleeve. Before I had a 416 with a JE 10.8:1 piston. Unfortunately the compression on the 416 piston was high enough that I had to run race fuel all the time just to keep it cool enough. That's a pain, because you have to go to a performace shop to get it and it cost like $4.30 a gallon. With the 416 in there my sleeve blew into a million peices (you'll have that if you hold it wide open from the time it starts till the time u hit the finish line) so I rebuilt the top end with the 440 kit. 416 cost like $200 for piston, boring, and gasket. 440 kit cost me $500 with everything.
Here is my opinion. In a drag race, my 416 was faster. The 416 hit really hard at the top of the RPM range (stock cdi). The 440 pulls a little bit better through the rest of the RPM range though. I can also run pump gas with my 440 piston because it's only 10:1 compression ration.
My opinion if I had to do it over again, is do the same thing I did, except go with a 10:1 or close compression ratio on the 416. Than you'd still be able to run pump fuel. The 440 kit doesn't really give you that much more power than the 416 and it costs much more money. Than if you ever blow the stock sleve to smitherines like I did, replace it at that time with the 440 kit. My .

did you have it installed somewhere or did you just get it bored out and install it yourself
oh and i was reading compression specs on one of the 440 kits it said 11:1 what would that mean i realize you said with your 416 you needed race fuel well what would you need for the 440 that compression was 11:1
