CVB commercial!!???!!
That's right kids... this weekend I'll be filming a commercial for a local ATV rental company. They also rent hummers and harleys. I've been asked to film, edit, and even RIDE for the commercial. The owner has been alerted by some of my coworkers about how I roll and he would like for me to make him an "action" commercial. He WANTS crazy action shots like wheelies and freestyle. Sooooo.... seeing as how I roll with the craziest quad crew in the country, I'll be using some of the shots from our last movie. I'll also be performing a harley burnout and some quad stunts! Should be a good time. And if you're all good little boyz and girlz.... I'll post the final spot here on stuntlife.
Peace,
Andrew

The only downside to this shoot on Sat is that the BMX comp in Denver is the same time. I've opted not to go to denver, but to work on this commercial instead. Okay, okay.... so maybe I would rather ride a quad for the day, then film BMX!

Sounds great man...Congrats on that hookup Bro. Looks like one good thing rolls in after another.
I have ridden a Rancher before (guy wanted to learn how to wheelie). If it's the 4x4 type, which is what it sounds like since you said "4x4", put it in 2nd gear and park it. Lift up a little on the shifter, then rev it and dump it and pull back. It should come up without much problem and it actually balances nice once it gets up there. The rancher I did it on had monster tires on it, so I would think a stock one would be easier. 1st gear is way to low and you can pick it up without dumping the shifter, but you run out of steam before balance point. I couldn't pick 2nd gear up without dumping the shifter, but maybe if you had a little bump on the ground or something you could.
Congrats again Bro...
Keep us posted on any little detail.

Yeah, I'm not expecting too much trouble wheeling the rancher. As for the editing... I don't think I'll be able to use any of you guys in the commmercial. After talking with the owner, it doesn't sound like I'll have enough time to show any of our footage. But I'll at least be a CVB on a quad! Oh boy.... I always wanted to do that!
