my 929 got 180-190 between fill ups. My 900 gets 100 but we've all seen the tank .

So you like that bike? It's basically the same motor as my 900.... just tame.

I spent $15 on gas after work yesterday and had to fill up again this morning. Gas is out of control!

Love the 919! My tank is dented as well, from the prior owner. Needs to be geared badly. Super comfortable. No more wrist trouble. Damn Surgery! As for prices, mine is a clean title, got it from Argo's. Teach and Damien hooked me up!!!!!!!

I have seen mint ones with pipes for 5500 a few times now.

Now, if only someone would buy my 954.......

Gas down here is $2.29 a gallon for premium. I take the bike everywhere I possibly can now. I average about 140 miles per tank on regular unleaded on the TL.

I need to get a rain suit too...

919 is a cool bike very tame though needs gearing like you read about but other than that its cool like riding a big heavy dirtbike

How the heck are you averaging that kind of mileage? I am lucky to get 100 miles out of a tank of fuel on my TL. Admittedly it does run just a little bit rich, but damn I wish I could get that kind of mileage.

You have a 97, no? My old 97 was like that too... barely would get 100 miles out of a tank. But then again, I filled it with premium unleaded like an idiot. I have no idea if that made the mileage drop off.

Interestingly enough, I found out that when I run premium on the current bike, it backfires off-throttle around 4K rpm consistently. When I run regular, it barely does it at all unless it's cold.
