steering dampner question
all right. i have been redoing my bike all winter to a totally stunted out form. so far i have gotten all **** plastics plus a **** tank, all has been painted, i got new tires-dunlop on the back and the avon ss II on the front. got new pads-f/b,new chain, and i dropped 2 teeth in the front, and went up 4 in the rear.soon i will have a bar on too.
now my question is after i have done all of this, i still want to roll those stoppies for some distance this year,so i am wondering how much it matters that you have an aftermarket steering dampner.im guessing the stock one isnt that good?? i mean i havnt got speed wobbles or anything like that ,im just assuming with a stiifer dampner or an adjustable one it would be better for the style of riding.
is this right.????? and also what type would you recommend.
thanks!!
