Re: tank pads
i know a lot of people use the pro-grip ones. but, i like the ones from Mag-Knight. its magnetic so its a snap taking it on and off and its reusable on different bikes. just clean the tank to remove any dirt in the spot where you want it, you can leave the wax on the tank, and use a heat gun or hair dryer to form the pad to the tank. they have different sizes and styles. i went with the medium sized one. it is not too big, but big enough to protect the big and not slide around on me. had great luck with it. its stays where i want it, and its never lifted from the tank. i have taken it on and off a half dozen times since i first put it on and have had no trouble with it. plus Mag-Knight is located in somerville, mass. Help keep the locales employed.
