My Comment Wasnt Meant To Be Taken That Teach Should Not Go To Argos And Just Buy Thigns From The Auctions Himself. If Teach Could Find Out What Auctions They Use And Let Others Know Then That Would Save Some People Alot Of Money. Not Everybody Has The Ability To Go To The Auctions, Most People Dont. So Even If Teach Does Let People Know, Its Not Going To Hurt Argos Business. If Argos Buys A Bike For 2 Grand At Auction And Sells It For 5 Grand Then They Just Made 3 Grand Off Of You. If You Can Get The Bikes From The Auctions Then You Could Buy 2 Bikes For The Price That Your Going To Pay At Argo For One. Theres Nothing Wrong With Trying To Save Some Money. Everybody Works Hard For What They Own And Its Nice To Be Able To Catch A Break And Save Some Money.

I think also what the other guy meens is that if its your sponser than thats almost like going behind there back and saying hey save $$ and go to where Argo's buys there bikes and save $$ I dont think Argo would be impressed,I know what your saying... but I may be wrong, but I believe thats what there meening,If it was me Id feel kinda funny doing it to a place that helps me out

Yeah I Understand What Your Sayin, But When It All Comes Down To It Not All Of Us Are Going To Go To Argos To Buy A Bike. Im Sure If You Asked The Guys At Argos Theyd Tell You Where The Bikes Come From, When You Get The Title Your Gona Find Out Anyways. honestly, i don't have a clue where they go to buy their bikes..i'm pretty sure they hit up EVERY auction there is. even if you do find out where they buy the bikes (most any auction will have a few), you will never be able to outbid them. they buy everything, no matter what. that is how they are successful and how they stay in business. so that idea is out, but go for it if you got the contacts.

they do sponsor me, so the more bikes i sell for them, the more they see the sponsorship working. when you buy a bike there, if i am involved, i guarantee that you get a decent chunk of change off the price-unless they own the bike for too much, which is sometimes the case when they buy all the bikes at auction.

it benefits everybody because:

you get a cheaper price (obviously they are not going to hand it to you, but they wont 'make as much off you' as they would if i wasnt invovled)

they sell bikes

they give me bikes and parts.

i have sat down with the owners and made sure that they do their best with people i send in there...if they don't then the sponsorship wont work, so it is in their best interest (as well as mine) to work with my contacts and cut thema deal.

i'm heading over there this week to check out bikes for three people...if anyone needs help, pm me and i will do what i can.

i also know of a 97 RR for 4500, it is MINT; as well as a 03 gixxer 600, brand new for 7,00 obo; and a 98or 99 zx9 for 5 i think..all clean titles and in mint shape...

like i said, pm me and i'll try and help. i work 2 min from argos every day!

turning rotors on a bike=no....you CAN make them slightly straighter IF they aren't warped too much.

as far as a bike, see previous posts....i can hook it up at argos, or i know of some nice used bikes:
