whoa! i wasn't trying to be a dick about it. i'm just saying that the bar looks major heavy duty, more than most i see. and i've only seen pics of the FI bar and only the bolt on part looks the same. anywho, what makes the gixxer subframes so weak? i'm going to be getting one soon and this knowlege may help. if you still have beef with me hit me up in a pm. ..........TED

nope bro,no beef,i just responded to that when i was hammered last night at like 2 in the mornin. . i think its so weak because first off its just a bad desing ,but theres not really any good subframe desing for stunters. its the way it bolts to the frame and how thick everything is. when you start dropping back at faster speeds or if you drop back hard it will start to oval out the round tabs on the subframe where you bolt it to the frame .then the subframe will lossen all the time after only a couple of drags, the only way i found to really prevent it from happening is to ALWAYS TIGHTEN your subframe bolts, like after every 7 drags or hits .
sorry bout me being a drunk dick ,

mike

whatch out on gixxer suframes cause the frame tabs can also snap.

Racing 905 is rumured to start making production steel subframes next year, with bars built in just for stunters. I think they will pretty good cause they are going to have weak bolts so the bolts snap before the sub bends or the tabs rip off.

That stunt toy is sweet. is it street legal or do u trailer it?

I just picked up a crusty '03 YZF 600, and was thinking of going the whole dirt bars route. Got any advice on how to hook those bad boys up?

and thats that.

Im not worried about this bike. It's a 03 YZF 600, bought brand new in May, only has 4400 miles on it, but I got it on a crashed/repo for $800. Im still debating whether IM going to fix it up and sell it or just ride it til it dies.
