The car is lost in Massachusetts now.
I called AAA to have them tow it back up north for me (so I didn't blow the motor before the race). They said I could leave the car in the parking lot and the tow truck would pick it up within 2 hours and deliver it to said address as long as I gave them good directions on how to get there. Sounds easy enough.
So I went home and waited... and waited... until 9:30. And then called them back. They said, someone picked up the car and took it to their service station. Then when things slow down, they will tow it to NH. Sounds easy enough.
But I woke up this morning... and still no car. I called AAA, and they said... yup the car was delivered. WRONG. Then they told me, well it was picked up last night at 5:20. (But I didn't leave the car until 6:00). Then they said they'd have to contact the service station to find the whereabouts of the automobile, and they would get back to me. OK dood, whatever.
So some guy with a Spanish accent calls me and says he has the car, but he doesn't know how to get to NH.
I told him to follow one of the 2 sets of directions I left on the car. And he said - "no directions....hang on... I call you back." That was about an hour ago.

Oh, I know it's funny. This breaks my previous record of 3 1/2 hours waiting for AAA.
But I keep thinking of how pissed I would be if this were my actual daily-driver car. HELLO!! You don't know where the car is?!?!

July 16th - 5:52 PM:
The car has been recovered from the Spanish spies and dropped off mysteriously at the requested destination! Without so much as a phone call or a "sorry 'bout losing your car for a day sir".
Thank you AAA!

ChrisF4i,
You gotta be one of the funniest bastards on this site. What makes you even more hilarious is how god damn quiet you are in real life.
That sunroof 50 rack is the best damn idea I've seen. I want a tempo just for that alone.
LOL!!!
