race update
to make a long weekend shorter:
friday: $70 for practice, seven laps and i am covered in oil from the triumph motor, but the bike handles well.
saturday: a.m. practice, lowside in T2, that airfence is nice, i almost stayed there and took a nap. pimp and fresh paint job not so pimp and not so fresh; plus $130 for a fairing bracket. p.m. $$$ race! four laps, bike feels funny, lowside in bowl, bike barrel rolls. me=mad, bike=bad. my paint job, now just like i like it: scratch and dent model!! broken fairingstay (four laps on it) bent key, rim, and forks....not bad for what it did though....dropped it off to peter kates of GMD and had it ready for sunday.
Sunday: new forks (experimental version-i was the first to try them) got 11th and 7th....ran 1:16:0 as a best with consistent 16's....i was happy but need to go faster...
bikes only pushing 100hp (SUCKS) versus the 110 most experts have, all within the 115 hp limit....i will have more for the Loudon Classic!
a big, giant thanks to Rick at INTENSE MOTORSPORTS for keeping my bike hooked up and setting me up with Peter from GMD Computrak who took care of me big time...
i was never really a believer in getting my bike's geometry optimized, but peter set it up and it handles smooth...wasnt really pushing it on sunday and went well....
victory lane coming soon!!
i'd better see you all up there for the National, i hear there may be XSBA there too!!

naw, oil problem only on the MRT...we figured it out. the cam chian guide blew to crap and the prolonged lean angles of the track combined with flipping the bike back and forth hard was sending the oil somewhere it shouldnt be....dave knows, i just try and ride...
i fixed the rear end chatter problem with a little style change, we just need to get the chassis dialed in...the front was a little skittish when i started to pick up the pace....
soon enough....loudon national and we should be mint although i'd like WAAAAYY more time on it!!
