nextel question
I was looking at their plans and noticed some stuff I didn't understand. If somebody doesn't mind, can they give me the run down in english. I don't care about text messaging info and ****. Just the breakdown of minutes and price and ****. I haven't had a cell phone for about 5 yrs now, so I'm retarded about this stuff.

does the free incoming calls save you money. I'm thinking of just getting a small plan. At the same time, I don't want to spend extra every month above what my plan costs for stupid **** like people callin me.

The next plan down from that doesn't have the unlimited 2 way. You'll use up your 2 way minutes in no time and then you'll be way over the 60 clams.
The 60 clam plan is the best.
JB had the 40 dolla plan and was going ova on the 2 way minutes. It was more economical to go wiff the 60 clam plan.

I just got the same plan as these guys. It's the cheapest one that includes the most and you're pretty much garenteed never to go over on your minutes. I think any phone is fine, as long as it has a speakerphone option, that way you can take calls and direct connects without taking off your helmet. If you want I can set you up with a guy that runs a Nextel place. He's a friend of a friend, same guy I just got my stuff through. See if you can start out on a cheap plan and upgrade later if you're going over your options.

BTW, the i60 doesn't come with speakerphone but I hear there is a way to unlock it.

Go with the unlimited 400 plan, believe me u save alot with free incoming and unlimited two ways. You might not have a girl to call ya all the time but everyone has nextel now and you will talk cheap to all ure friends on bikes with the two ways... Youll realize this is the way everyone talks to eachother and especially to let peeps know when ya need to get out of the spot your riding in.

Just looked over my contract, turns out I didn't even realize I had free nights and weekends till Bri and KB mentioned it. DO either of you know what times the 'nights and weekends' include?

First off if you have a military id use it you will get the goverment discount. I used to use 2000 minutes a month with my last phone. With the nextel I have the 400 minute plan and i never go over. Look at it this way who will you call during the days of mon thru friday from 7 in the mourn till 9 at night. Thats the only minutes you will need, the rest is free nights, weekends. What everyone forgot to mention is no long distance which is very nice.
The phones are sick I just got 2 wayed from a buddy in florida worked perfect.
If you get nextel buy the i60 and i can get you the i95 the one with color screen for 100 dollars, rather than 400 or whatever it is.

You can also get the Municipal Plan....ah it's a great thing!!!
LOL .....I have the i95(courtesy of the city)...sweet phone...and I found out how to make wallpaper for it...lol
