Let me know what I should do about the rear sets.... I know you had a company that did yours...... and if you have a totally trashed upper with the left ear still intact Ill pick that up off you... let me know how much you want for it

Re: Teacher

no upper, i just got a hold of one myself...

www.woodcraft-cfm.com is where i get my rearsets and clipons and casecovers.

once you drop it, they rearset itself will bend a bit, but then it leans against the frame or something and is fine...i highly recommend them...a bit pricey but better for jumping around and they look good!

I had one of those rear sets that bend instead of brake, and it still F'd up my rear brake. Couldn't use it at all. I do agree it is better than the thing braking, so you still have a peg, But no matter how different it is, I think we all are still going to be in the rearset battle.

definately worth checking out though.

Re: Teacher

i have had zero problems with mine...i could see how you could have problems with the brake, but mine works great. ifyou look at my bike from the top, the pegs look funny, almost like they were bent back (the rearsets) from highspeed wind!

the ohly time i broke a rearset all season was when i lent section 518 wade my whole assembly and he flipped an endo, land directly on the peg with no cage...didnt break anything, just bent the rearset out...i got a new one and reused the peg.

holla at me if you guys need anything

yea that was on my 900rr, maybe the brake is a little different on yours and wasn't effected. Still sounds awesome. I'll definately take a look at some.

how was the show this weekend? didn't end up goin to out your way. Couple buddies of mine went to argo's this passed tuesday. there is a mint yellow 929 that only needs like forks, clipon, and upper. saw online and want it bad.

in the process of selling a mint F3 that is geared -1 +10. nice bike. its on ebay right now.
