Congrats guy, it's about time haha. Looks nice and big too! Went to Naults right off of exit 3 to get my ride. Is it much further than your commute you take now? Or is it closer, the same? Good luck with it punk!

Re: Bought a house!! WOOHOO!!
My ride goes from roughly 22miles to 37miles....
and 30min to 45min (without traffic).
it's not too bad.... but heading up I-93 on Friday's will suck. Truthfully, it's very rare I make it to Billerica in 40min.... it's usually 50min during rush hours. Hopefully the traffic up I-93 isn't too bad everyday. I will probably need to alter my schedule to beat the heavy traffic times. Maybe stay late... whatever. Knowing I'm going home to my own house will ease the pain of waiting in traffic (hopefully).
I can always just get another job too.

Brian, traffic sucks. Real bad. I would reccommend playing with your hours as extreme as you can. either go in real early or real late or vice versa. And get a street legal bike, it will help 10 fold on those bad days coming into the city.

Re: Bought a house!! WOOHOO!!
yeah? what are you thinking as a typical time? I went up to exit 1 everyday last week and it took me average of 50min. 1 day it was 1hr, and another was 40min. All the other days seemed to be about 50min. The lane merger has been changed so exit 1 and beyond seem ok. They also allow breakdown lane travel from 4-7pm all the way from the lane drop in Wilmington.

Re: Bought a house!! WOOHOO!!
So you live 10 minutes off exit 3 and it is going to take 45 minutes to get home from work. Last week you rode from work up to exit 1 and it takes 50 minutes? I think I am missing something here.
I would say on average it is going to take you 1 hours and 20 minutes during peak times. 1 hours off hours
50 minutes by bike

there will be good days and bad days. Good days plan on an hour ten or an hour twenty and you'll be thrilled if you do better. The bike will make a world of difference, but you might have to split/sneak around and bend some traffic rules.

Re: Bought a house!! WOOHOO!!
I said 45min without traffic.... I've done it. I'm less than 4 miles off exit 3 (no lights) and there is NO WAY it's 10min off the exit.
45min commute with NO traffic.... I'm sayin 50min tops.
I made it to exit 1 in 40min last week.... it was Monday (after superbowl) so traffic was pretty light. I left work at 5:08 and drove by the Rockingham Mall at 5:48. All the other days I averaged 50min.
I'm thinking 45-50min on a good day. 1hr - 1hr10min on a typical day. 1-1/2 hours on a rough day.

You land looks awesome. I just got back from doing a flight test and took a pic of your house from above. Sorry the color camera is not working yet so make due with the black and white. As for the topo that is some nice flat land. Should work out real well. More pics to follow once Bri and Tara move in and Tara in sunbathing.

O wait till the holidays and that exit 1 mall traffic. Let's just say it will take 30 minutes once you get over the NH border to get home.
It will be all worth it when you get home and tara has your slippers and food waiting for you in you new home :YEAH
