There is a new video in the works. It will feature fiddy stunt riders of all disciplines, as well as random racing footage, street bikes, quads, partying, and more. We will TAKEOVER: 50ccz AT A TIME . . . . .
This vid is going to pave the path for fiddy stunnaz. I'm was very hesitant to announce this, but I'm interested in footage from some of the other fiddy crews around the nation. I was hesitant because of the controversy other stunters and myself have seen with random film makers taking advantage of the stunt video market, and producing vids that are sold to the masses w/o rider knowledge or approval. I know variety is the spice of life, and a lot of you got some cool **** going on. So this is your invitation to be a part of the TAKEOVER.
If your interested pm me or post on this thread w/ any questions or concerns you may have. I PROMISE that you will get the credit you deserve such as your name(s), website, location, etc... Since I'm editing this vid I would prefer to have 3-5 minutes of selected clips in DV quality w/ sound NO MUSIC Feel free to suggest music for your segment, but I won't make any promises. Realisticly each rider/team's segmeant will probably be 1-3 min., that's why pre edited clips w/ music will not work. What we can to keep all of the riders and teams involved is have each of you request a genre of music (example: hip hop, punk, rock, other) that you would like your clip edited with. Once we're closer to the deadline, we will take the suggestions from each genre and vote for the song(s) that will be used. NO MAINSTREAM GARBAGE, and I'd recommend voting hip hop cuz I got some ILL tracks in mind. And we all know the riding looks better when matched w/ the right soundtrack
**THERE IS A DEADLINE OF JAN. 31, 2004 FOR FOOTAGE TO BE SUBMITTED**
As far as payback I will make sure that anyone involved will get atleast a few copies of the final vid, as well as a copy of Control Coalition's "We Don't Play In Traffic". I have found a distribution company that will have the vid duplicated and distributed nation wide, mainly in m/c shops, skate shops, and import shops, which equals excellent free exposure for all of us. If all goes well, there may be a TAKEOVER tour, which any participants in this project will be invited to, and possibly compinsated for their appearances and travels.
Also if any of you teams/riders have sponsors please pm or send a link or info to be plugged into the credits of the movie, they will appear w/ your name and/or team. I will have a promo letter you can provide them with in a few days, until then if they have questions have them email me at rodgcc@comcast.net
I'd like to finish up by saying thanks to all of you for buying a fiddy in the first place. There are now enough street stunnaz and dirt freestylers to start a whole new genre of m/c entertainment. Most, if not all, of you know that I'm dedicated to my fiddy, and this project is the first step I'm taking in my efforts to bring our sport to the spotlight. Regardless of what these big bike stunnaz my say or think, we have a better chance at X-games, concert appearances, and other m/c exhibitions then they ever will. I know this video is going to pop off, so please consider "jumping on the bandwagon". Because by the time everyone catches on, we'll be that far ahead. The "Godfathers" if you will.
