Michigan fiftys today.

Michigan fiftys today.
Was at the local shop Friday and the guys that work there said they were going to ride the XRs and CRFs and invited me out. Had a great time. Rode for about three hours.
There was a track,old grass airstrip to race back and forth on and a good side street to ride loooong wheelies on. Couldn't ask for much more. Except big bars and some better suspension.
I think there were 10 fiftys there including one big bore. Damn those bikes get out of the hole fast. It only topped out at 40.3 mph though. Dude needs to regear it or something.
Here are some photos,not to many though I was too busy riding.

Grand Rapids. We rode on property about 15 minutes west of my house. It will happen again in the summer and I hope the guy that has access to the place makes it an open invite for anyone with a fifty that wants to come.
This was my first time riding with these guys so I didn't want to holler out the info before I checked it out. I dropped this site to a bunch of them. Maybe they will show up on here.
I am trying to work up a G.R. cannonball pretty soon if it doesn't snow. I have a great route planned but it is only about 5 miles long. Maybe we will do two laps.

im in milford, in oakland county. We should get everyone here from Michigan and get a good ride going. just make a time, and place. we would probably have to wait till spring to get everyone to come tho.

They went riding in GR with out me, dam !!! I went out for a hour or so yesterday and will post those pic's soon. Just bought 88cc kit today and hopefully will be on this weekend if not the next. Please post all ridings on this board so no one misses out.

Natedogg, it was my first time riding with those guys so I didn't want to put the call out and have it go bust. Next time for sure I will holler here. But now that you say you're getting a big bore,maybe we won't let you know. I hate getting beat. 
How many guys can you bring along with fiftys? The more the funnier.
I had one crash where I was trying to scrape the rear fender. First gear really slow and up really high. I came to a stop and had it balanced and then just went over backwards. I kept my feet on the pegs and my hands on the bars so I was on my back with the bike on top of me. It must have looked like the bike was riding me.
I will scrape without a 12 bar.
