Re: First day on the 50!
Switch up your practice ways. Dont practice stand ups all day. Switch back and fourth between stand ups and sit downs. That way u give each the same amount of practice time. Given time, u'll have those sit downs on lock. And just wait til you can throw your feet between the bars for 50/50 and some HC's. I fell in love the day i finally got those biatches on lock, LoL.....=-) Just keep that **** up, u'll be jumping all over that little beast in no time...=-)

Sweet man... I have been working on sitdowns some but not 50/50 i will start doing that Lol And yeah like i said its a blast Do you still use your hand brake? for the sit downs? or just use the foot brake?

Re: First day on the 50!
I use the HB as a secondary option when doing the sitdowns. There is times when i feel the bike may be getting away and its easier to grab the HB vs pressing the foot brake. And i find i have to push my foot brake down a lil farther to make it grab. But as long as i feel im in control, i just use the foot brake. However, i ALWAYS cover the HB no matter what......That HB will save your *** more than a few times, LMAO....=-)

Re: First day on the 50!
Not that far to fall, true.....But its not the asphalt or the concrete that worries me, LoL
Never under estimate the damage that little bike can do to you. It may be little, but it does pack a big punch. I had a buddy who went up into a stand-up. His weight was too far right and his foot also slipped. Instinctively he placed his foot on the ground to catch himself. However when he did, the rear stunt peg ran over the back of his foot and brought his foot under the back tire. He didnt break anything, but he was hobbling around for a week or so with a bad foot that he couldnt put pressure on.........Just goes to show that you have to respect the bike. I mean after all your making it do what you want it to do. Which doesnt mean that it will always happen that way....=-)

Re: First day on the 50!
how true this is me from looping a sitdown. my pant leg caught the peg and it litterally just pulled the bike down onto my ankle. it was about the size of a softball instantly. there was no slow swelling it was a ballon within inpact.
still stuntin on that broken bitch though

Re: First day on the 50!
lookin good t\c i just got my 50 today and i got sitdowns in no time.
but when i try to stand on the pegs for some reason i cant keep the ******* thing straight. but i also dont have a lever for my hand brake so im doin staggard right now.. and its a pain in the ***. o well keep it up!!
one more thing.. as far as sit downs at first i was sittin at the edge on the seat but when i sit closer to the tank i found bp and could hold it alot better. ( more comfy to me) to each his own
