Whats up boost,

My girlfriend had and aprilla rs50, it was cool for her because it was light and a perfect size for her, but bigger than a ysr. But a guy on a Aprillia isnt so cool since it is kind of a chicks bike. The ysr is a lot funner because it is so much smaller and it handles better even though it only has 12" tires, you can lean that biatch all the way over! I think there are better performance parts for the ysr. The only thing I don't like about those 2 stroke 50s is that you have to rev the **** out of them and then slip the clutch to get that little thing moving, but once going and your in the powerband its fun

I have a YSR, I feel they are pigs on power. I have raced a few YSR's and they are very fun for that. I race a "YXR" with an XR100 motor and that was a blast.

Have you seen the 50cc Derbi? Those are PIMP!

I have seen a guy stunting on one of those. All kinds of goodies, 17" wheels, USD forks, disc brakes, etc.

I gots me a derbi Supermotard. Its a pimp stunner. I'm by no means a good stunner like Nasty but the bike makes tricks pretty easy.

heres a video of me finally touching and riding away a 12.

The Derbi makes way more power than the YSR's. And is more high tech. I reccomend a Supermotard if you are a big person over the GPr-1.

easy,

Where did you get your Derbi? There's a place on ebay selling them for $2599 shipped to your door, did you do any better than that? Know of any used ones? Do you ride yours on the street? If so, how is it? Comfy? Sorry for all the questions.

... I got mine for 2600 OTD. Put it on my Credit Card. Do a search for Derbi dealers in your area. I had to drive 20 miles to find one. If not there is a Place in Oregon and Florida that is the importer for the bike. All other dealers get them through these two places.

As for comfort. I drive mine each day to work about 5 miles. It goes 50 miles per hour with me on it 210 lbs. After work each day I go out and practice stunts with it for about 30-45 mins. It probably has 1000 clutch drops on it and has even missed a beat. I can't say anything bada about it except that it isnt a subtitute for a real motorcycle (its just for around town).

Other than that insurance is cheap (20 bucks a year). Plan on turning heads with it cause no one knows what the hell it is. I've gotten pulled over already by a MC cop thinking it was a Dirt bike with street tires.

Tricks:

figure 8 D's (one handed)
75 Foot high *** endos
feet over endos
sit down 12's (with bar on)
Stand up (with bar) 1/4 mile + long
Stand up one handers, blind folded and fender grabs
Stand up 12's

and more...

Sweet! So the $2600 included tax and everything? Also, what kinda mpg ya get, like 80mpg?? 93 Octane? What other maintainence is involved, as I've never owned a 2 stroke before. I'm only 165#'s with gear on, maybe I can do 55 MPH. Thanks again!

Not a whole lot of maintenence. Its got auto oil injection I've only had to refill once. I dont keep track of mileage (i disconnected the speedo since day one) but about $3/week.

Just had to adjust the chain once and thats it.

Pretty cool toy.
