Ok don't know much about the 50's but I'm lookin at a suzi' JR80 or an XR50 or the 70. Pro's cons what's the deal is the 80 so bad it's the five speed w the clutch and what not, but I just don't wanna get stuck w anything. Lemme' know asap because I wanna get one.

You will not get stuck with an XR, don't believe me check Ebay or any classifieds. Hondas hold their value better than any bike out there.

50 is where its at bro. don't mess with the 80 you will get hosed. hah i bought a 50 beat and sold it for more. don't count out a klx 110 or drz or ttr90 becuz im not tryin to hate on anyone but a 90 will romp a 70

ive seen 2001 xr 50's doing damn well close to what they are new.

That kawi 110 mini bike is a bad machine - i'd like to take one for a ride. But, then again - its a kawi. These Honda's are tanks - take a mean beaten.

the other 50's dont hold up as well & drop in value huge. open up a classified or check ebay - **** does huge money.

Ive got the whole honda line up - 900rr, 400ex, xr50.

I have to agree with 1000ceecee, definately get the xr50r... honda holds up the best, parts are cheap... fun as hell.... i mean, they have to be, they have a forum dedicated to them on here!!

XR50 & XR70???

Is the 70 the same thing as the fiddy? Just a bigger engine. What's the differance? Just curious where is the best place to $$$ M and anyone wanna sell???

xr 70 has the same motor just a differnt cam and maybe some other things differnt am not sure what all but its basically the same motor if you look at them side by side

K I was on honda's page and compared the two (50 & 70) and that's the deal the local dealer has the 70 in stock so I'm going to try and beat them up a little on the price. So Am I correct that they are pretty much the same because I don't wanna get bonked in the end. You've all ridden them and know a **** load more than I do cause I have had no experience in this just ridden a 50 like 2x's. But yeah seriously thanks for all the kelp for sure! I'm glad that I'm on the right path!

GET THE 50, NOT THE 70.

Tons of aftermarket goodies for it compared to the 70. 70s are dogs, low compression motor. Chassis is a little bigger but I don't think they're as much fun to ride. My brother has one and we both have 50s. The 70 just sits in the back of the garage. Every once in a while we pull it out to rob some parts, then we put it back away.:p
