I've been looking for a fiddy for a short while, I know almost all of you have an xr50 but I can have a '91 suzuki JR50 for about 350$US. so for those of you that have tried both, is it as much fun? does it handle almost the same? I know the jr is a 2stroke vs 4stroke with the xr, but a second hand xr50 is really hard to find here...

I have a 2000 jr 50.

Bought it for my 6 year old. It sucks, he wanted an xr, got him an xr and now the jr just sits in the garage.

suspension sucks, engine sucks. oil dripping out the pipe on my garage floor sucks.. you get the picture.

 

Do not buy it. There is a reason why you can't touch a HONDA for these kinda prices. You will kick yourself in the *** every time you see a 78 Z50 buzz by your house when your sitting in your garage bitching and throwing stuff at that wadded up piece of **** sitting in front of you.
