, My friend and I are coming down for bike week but she doesn't have an endorsed licence. In Michigan you can take the written test and get a permit to ride with someone else that has an edorcement. My question is, how does this work in Florida? Will she be a legal rider if she only has a permit to ride with me or does she need an endorsed licence?

 

The only restriction with a permit down here is no passengers. I'm pretty sure that's it. 99.8% sure.

I read something on the bike week website that you don't have to wear a helmet as long as you have eye protection. But I probably will anyway, it feels weird to me just to ride my bike from my driveway to the poll barn. You guys have been so helpful thats very much! U aren't required to wear a helmet in Florida if you have $10,000 of insurance. They're not supposed to pull you over just to check if you have the insurance but stuff happens. You have to have eye protection of any kind if you don't wanna get hasseled.
