Re: stunt wars judging
Well, I think it's a tough event to judge and an even tougher event to ride in. Shockey's a great rider, but yeah he crashed a ralph louie and did no acros. He had a super smooth stoppie park on the wall and he probably got big points for that drift at the end. It definitely says 19th place on stuntwars.com, could be a typo...but he is a gangster rider.
Jordan probably should have finished higher than 40th, but he got in the sand and pancaked a sitdown circle. He had a really good burnout combo and circle set, with some acros in there. I thought he had a good run considering.
Colbert, well...He's a really good rider and clutched up for a special K circle. Big points for difficulty. I thought he did pretty well. I think it's just a tough event to judge. I heard he's absolutely killing it right now.
As far as the stated rules go, it's whatever and somewhat up to interpretation...I thought Joel had a killer run "rules wise" and his bike shut off too, so he didn't score as high as he would have. No crash though. He got 33rd place. It's a tough event to ride in because there are always about 40 riders that are so close in skill level it's hard to judge. Everybody that's out there is good enough to be on the track and deserves credit. People may not agree, but that's just my I'm looking forward to StuntWars this season.
