Re: Progression Video!

also, come from a dead stop. dont be rolling when u clutch up. if you clutch alll the way up right from a stop its a whole lot less scary then when ur carrying speed trying to get there. good luck.

This is how i went from chasing wheelies 2 feet off the ground to almost bp wheelies in 3 days. Go slow...5 mph, STAGGERED...so much easier, pop the clutch give it a lil gas if ur not anywhere close to the bp come back down there is no reason chasing it your not gonna learn that way. Repeat that step every time coming higher and higher. remember start slow and get higher higher everytime. You have to get comfortable bringing the bike up, once u get comfortable launching that bike just give it more gas and your all set. Don't be a squid and ride out the wheelie at 85mph, its dangerous and its not gonna get you no where. Start slow and stay slow.

Peace!

Re: Progression Video!

My 10 bits of advice and I think everyone will agree:

1. Couldnt tell if you had a cage on it, but get one.
2. Remove all plastics unless its a daily driver and you care how you look.
3. Get an easy pull clutch (1 finger)
4. 12 Bar will help because you can go past BP and save on bar.
5. Raise your idle up high. (smoothes out the wheelie)
6. Tire pressure I started is 10 psi, as you get better raise it.
7. Clutch it high as hell and lightly catch with your foot brake.
8. Stiffen up all your suspension.
9. If you can practice BP on a 4 wheeler for a while.
10. Practice, Practice, Practice. Eventually you will get it.

Speed Kills, Slow Thrills.

dude i havn't done wheelies sitting down yet cause they scare the **** out of me and i can't see anything. trust me learning staggered is weird at first but after awhile youll get used to it. took me 3 days of practice to learn.....3 long days.

Re: Progression Video!

might have been said, i didnt read everyones posts. your too choppy on the throttle. turn ur idle up and it wont be as bad. and like im sure yuo've heard a millions times b4. when u think ur @ BP....... go back further. makes sur u cover the brake. u will know when u are at BP cause u wont be accelerating.

just my 2 cents. good luck!!

Re: Progression Video!

Your tire spins because you are not bouncing it up. When u clutch it up give it a bounce by pressing down on the front forks and with ur feet on ur pegs and then clutch it and it wont spin.

There is no way you can wheelie on ice no ******* way let alone ride on ice. those tires must have some metal screws in them or something...no way.
