it makes more sense to me to stop it before it comes down unless your coming down and still carrying some speed..
if its still spinning and you come down at a complete stop it seems like it would put un needed stress on the chain

oh yeah.. nice stoppie man.. i know what you mean about the gpr.. its easy to forget.. i've been trying to keep it atleast at 4-5 when i ride normally so that way if i forget i still have a little stability

every force has an equal and opposite force. the force exerted on the wheel to make it stop has an opposite force that causes the rear wheel to lift upwards.
