Hey guys, disclaimer: this is not a plug for nextel, just me telling you what a deal i got, and maybe i can save you some money
ok , I just signed up for the "Goverment somethingorother contract" with Nextel. This is what I got:
27% off my phone (180 instead of $$299!!)
27% off of any accessories
10% off of the top of my bill not matter how much it is.
and no strings attatched, they really hook us up.
This deal is for anyone who works for the goverment. Good luck guys!

Holy ****! you must have crappy credit. Mine came back good, i didnt have to put a cent down and i was in and out in like 30 minutes. Probably would have been much shorter but the guys son was a Marine, who just came back from Japan like me. Good luck!

Nextel will not sign anybody up without 2 years of no missed payments.
IDK how they could've hit you with a $900 deposit for limited credit history, the standard is $500, get your credit report there may be something wrong...

I work for nextel, the maximum deposit is 500, but that is only for bad situations, cause recently they went to 250 deposits. And there are thousands of companies that get discounts through nextel. Along with any gov. employee.

you know whats stupid about nextel?
say you have NO credit. You go to get the phone and they want a 500$ deposit. They treat you like you have bad credit. If someone has No credit how can they have bad credit?
