Can you use any tires and stud them? I was talking to the dealer when I changed my front tire last month. He said my dunlops on my 954 will not hold studs. I though it would be perfect since i already had a hole in it.

1. You take a tire and cut the sidewalls off of it. And throw the side walls away!!!
2. Place the tire that you just cut and put it in the inside of a good tire.
3. You might want to put some type of adhesive between the 2 tires, but that's up to you.
4. And if you can find a tube that you can use....Pete was having a problem kepping air in his tire.....But then again Yates had no problem.
The reason for the inner tire is so you have more rubber to screw the studs into. If you were to try and screw into just the one tire they would flex and rip right out.
Hope that helps

I was running about 35psi in the front and starting with 40 psi in the rear and ending up with 0psi, with the extra tire in it you can run it flat. Coming down from a wheelie wasn't that bad at all, just make sure you have enought studs in the front that's all
