It really depends on where you were - yeh it wasn't as bad as they thought but could we have handled a cat 2 for over 24 hrs straight ? The eye came right over us - for the first part of the storm the winds came at the back of my house - trees + screen enclosures + winds for hrs = BIG MESS ! Then once the eye went over us & we were in the back part of the storm the winds were coming off my lakefront at 50-60 mph for 3 hrs straight - Yeh it sucked my power went off at 9:00 am when the storm was still out over the ocean... I think I'm ready to move... or at least take a LONG A$$ roadtrip - oh yeh, and someone said something about another one - yeh there is - behind Ivan - they haven't really mentioned it on the major tv stations - don't want people freakin out more than they are - some satellite pic showed where they said it was forming... blah blah.. sorry... hee,hee.... Maybe we'll get lucky and this will keep all the OLD, NON-DRIVIN SNOWBIRDS UP NORTH - Then maybe I could see some positive coming out of this !!! Later -

I'm loving this place right now, days off = boat, work = easy $$$, I can handle this *****! But one thing is missing...
