Avon 35/36 Tires

Avon 35/36 Tires Strange, I just ordered a set of Avon 35/36 from a local dealer. The service guy was telling me he did not like the Avon tires. He said the Dunlop 207 is a better choice and pretty much the same tire as the Avon. I looked on Avon website and I noticed that the 35/36 is a touring tire. Doesn’t that mean it is a harder compound and will not stick to the road that well in the winter? I know the DTE guys all swear by them so I still ordered them and hopefully they are as good as they say.

no no no no AV39. AV39. Not a touring tire. Dunlop front tires suck. Avon Azzaro SuperSport II (street compound) The AV36 is the rear tire. I really don't like the Avon rear tires.

Dohhhh!!!!!!!!!! That sucks!!! What a fool I am. I guess they were right about the side effects of short-term memory loss. I just called back and they are going to see if they can change the order for the front tire. I left the rear as the 36 since it is a harder compound and will last longer. I need to have these tires switched before this weekend’s Halloween run!!! I was riding on the cords on Saturday when I meet up with John and Shel.
