f4i rotors

Hey, anyone know what the deal is with the f4i?

I just put some rotors on and they don't fit, they are about 1/8+ off on each side so the caliper rubs somethin feirce...

Are there two different ones for different years on this bike?

help...

Johnny

I'm no expert but i'll try and help....

Check the rotation maybe u put them on the wrong sides, (they have an arrow on them somewhere. Or maybe they;re bent. sorry if im not help, or that's obvious info, but that's all that comes to mind.

or maybe u got rotors for an f4? but i dont think they would fit at all

Re: f4i rotors

i checked that all already...everything is on perfect, they aren't warped or bent at all, and they are exactly 1/8th of an inch off on each side as the offset of the rotors are too much...always something...fugggggin aye...lol

Re: f4i rotors

The spacers on the front wheel are identical on this bike...do the f4i's have two different spacers? I know the 900's did.

Re: f4i rotors

i put a set of chrome's on an f4i earlier today at work ,and the spacers on that bike were different widths , not by much just a tad , also the axle end actually acts as a spacer 2 check to see if it is all the way through and flush with the wheel spacer . is it an even 1/8 inch on both side or is one side spaced to the right and the other to the left . if they are both out or both in then they are probly the wrong discs . just my

Re: f4i rotors

The 1/8" difference is on the outside of both, i.e. The rotors are 5 1/2" outside to outside, if you could measure yours, that would be pimp! The outside of each rotor is rubbing the caliper, so i would assume the spacers are 1/8" smaller on each side exactly or something like that...It's so hard to figure it out without having an extra bike to try/look, etc...

Whatcha think?
